Maple murder
Welcome on Maple Mesos – Blog. According to one very interesting website, findingdulcinea.com, 43 year old Japanese women could face 5 years of jail or a fine of up to $5,000 for killing of her online husband in game “MapleStory.”
She was a piano teacher and was furious after the man, who was married to her in the Maple Story, broke off online relationship. Then enraged women signed on to his online Maple profile with his identification data and erased his character-avatar.
“I was suddenly divorced, without a word of warning. That made me so angry,” She said.
Well, after that, Police arrested her on Oct. 23 and now she is being charged for “illegal access onto a computer and manipulating electronic data,” Well that funny, when someone delete my account i can call the police :-)
Well her online husband, a 33 y old office worker from Sapporo, had reported the crime and death of his character to police. Husband said that he “raised” his MS character for more than a year, according to Sky News.
Heheh from this story there is only one, smart thought. Just keep an eye on your login and password. You must keep them in your secret place, i prefer to put this kind of data in my head or in my special handbook. Of course this incident is far less terrible then one news related to World of Warcraft. I read about Chinese kid who burned other kid after school fight. He though is was some kind of warlock or mage or something. Another terrible one was related to Lineage and it happened in Russia, where one guy killed another after a severe quarrel. After the players had agreed to meet in a public place, one of them attacked the other with a knife.
Unfortunately poor guy died as result of wounds…Well, playing can be very dangerous for our health and can make you obsessive, aggressive or very unstable. That’s why having a break is really good way to maintain health.
